The ideal candidate must possess a demonstrated knowledge of audience acquisition strategies.  RESPONSIBILITIES: ·         Develop global CXO Executive Events strategy and Cisco proprietary portfolio providing a single voice to the company and externally around our CXO event strategy.  ·         Align executive event strategy with VSE and objectives of JC and Sr. Leadership team as well as Cisco’s value proposition and business architecture framework.·         Define Cisco’s next-generation experience for acquiring, building, and maintaining relationships with CXOs of Cisco’s target customers and prospects that can scale globally.·         Define and execute CXO event communications strategy that positions Cisco first as a premier business partner and thought leader, and secondarily as a provider of innovative, technology-based solutions that solve customers’ business challenges.·         Create a compelling value proposition that captures CXO mindshare and participation in Cisco events relative to industry and competitors’ events.·         Develop branding of Cisco Executive Events (CCLC, CIO Summit, ITES, CABs and  local field programs) through consistent messaging, content strategy, audience acquisition, and a defined set of assets.·         Establish and infuse a pervasive standard of precision, quality, and high-touch in all customer deliverables and interaction by internal and external event teams.·         Collaborate with theatre and industry constituencies to garner their support and participation in global executive programs.·         Integrate new technologies and tools into event programs to enhance all phases of executive event experience to streamline execution and optimize costs.·         Continually gauge customer pulse and market trends to ensure that executive programs are current and relevant.·         Develop process for seamless and regular cadence for follow-up and relationship-building with senior executives, IBSG, sales organization, and Cisco Services.·         Establish, track, and analyze metrics that measure the effectiveness of events and provide insights for improvements.·         Assess and develop a centralized database that provides a coordinated focal point for audience acquisition, strategic executive outreach, and communications.·         Provide leadership, strategic guidance to executive events teams (marketing and program management).
